Country Manager - Data Center Location: Bangkok, ThailandEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleThe client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Manager to lead and grow their Data Center Consultancy operations in Thailand. This strategic role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in data center design, commissioning, consulting, and project delivery, and a strong understanding of the Thai market. You will be responsible for driving business development, managing client relationships, overseeing project execution, and building a high-performing local team.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Development & StrategyDevelop and execute a go-to-market strategy to expand our presence in Thailand.Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the data center sector.Build strategic partnerships with developers, hyperscalers, enterprises, and government stakeholders.Project LeadershipOversee the successful delivery of data center projects from design through commissioning.Ensure projects meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams.Client EngagementServe as the primary point of contact for key clients in Thailand.Understand client needs and deliver tailored consultancy solutions.Foster long-term relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.Team ManagementRecruit, mentor, and lead a local team of consultants and engineers.Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Operational OversightEnsure compliance with local regulations and company standards.Manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting for the Thai operations.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.Minimum 10 years of experience in data center consultancy, with a strong track record in design, commissioning, and project delivery.Proven leadership experience in a client-facing, business development, or country management role.Deep understanding of the Thai data center market, including regulatory and cultural nuances.Strong network within the local data center ecosystem (developers, contractors, consultants, etc.).Excellent communication skills in English; Thai language proficiency is a strong advantage.
