Country Manager, EthiopiaWe are seeking a highly driven Country Manager for Ethiopia to lead Bybit’s business development and institutional expansion in the region. This role combines BD, sales, and strategic partnership responsibilities — you will act as Bybit’s representative in Ethiopia, focusing on growing trading volume and revenue across our compliant crypto liquidity, tokenized stock, and forex products.The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong local networks across financial institutions, payment providers, crypto communities, and OTC players. They should understand both traditional and digital asset ecosystems and be capable of driving fast and pragmatic business growth in an emerging market environment.Key Responsibilities:Act as Bybit’s Country Manager in Ethiopia, overseeing local business strategy and market execution.Achieve OKRs centered on trading volume growth, institutional onboarding, and revenue generation.Drive business development and sales of Bybit’s Ethiopia-compliant crypto liquidity and trading products to institutional clients, trading teams, and active market participants.Introduce and promote Bybit’s tokenized stock and forex products to relevant financial entities and high-volume traders.Build and maintain relationships with crypto-native organizations (OTC desks, high-volume traders, local exchanges) and traditional financial institutions exploring digital assets.Form partnership alliances with local brokers, fintech companies, payment providers, and institutional trading groups.Provide market intelligence on regulatory changes, institutional sentiment, and the broader competitive landscape in Ethiopia.Represent Bybit at local crypto events, fintech gatherings, and industry roundtables to expand brand visibility and trust.Requirements:Proven network within Ethiopia’s crypto ecosystem, OTC desks, fintech companies, and traditional financial institutions with crypto exposure or interest.6+ years of experience in institutional sales, business development, or trading, ideally in crypto, FX, fintech, remittance, or derivatives.Strong understanding of crypto trading, liquidity products, tokenized assets, and local payment/FX infrastructures.Highly motivated, aggressive, and results-oriented — able to operate independently in a fast-moving and developing regulatory environment.Excellent communication and negotiation skills with business fluency in English; Amharic is a strong advantage.Entrepreneurial mindset: hungry, hardworking, proactive, and capable of building a market from zero.
