Job Specification: Country Manager HaitiLocation: Port au Prince, Haiti Reports to: CEO, COO LATAM1. Role DescriptionThe Country Manager, Haiti will lead and oversee all aspects of the company’s operations within Haiti. This role requires a versatile and resilient leader with deep expertise in security risk management, business continuity, and project oversight, as well as proven experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all business departments, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, and maintaining operational excellence. Acting as the company’s senior representative in Haiti, the Country Manager will also play a pivotal role in building and sustaining strong relationships with clients, government authorities, community stakeholders, and business partners.While the CEO and COO LATAM will define the business development strategy and engage new clients, the Country Manager will implement the strategy locally and take ownership of maintaining long-term client relationships once contracts are secured.2. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Management·       Provide overall leadership and direction across all departments, including Operations, Sites, Investigations, Finance, Commercial, HR, IT and support functions.·       Drive a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.·       Mentor and professionally develop managers and staff, ensuring succession planning and local capacity-building.·       Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.Security and Risk Management·       Deliver security risk management services, including consultancy, protective security, incident and crisis management, and technical solutions.·       Develop and maintain frameworks aligned with ISO31000 principles, including risk registers and treatment plans.·       Build effective relationships with government agencies, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities.·       Enhance and maintain crisis response strategies and best practices for resilience in complex environments.Business Continuity·       Lead the development and maintenance of the business continuity strategy in-country.·       Conduct business impact analyses, facilitate planning, and run exercises to test readiness.·       Monitor KPIs, training, and maturity roadmaps to improve organizational resiliency.·       Align continuity planning with strategic objectives and evolving business needs.Project Management·       Lead and manage a portfolio of projects to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.·       Establish governance and apply best practices in project management.·       Work with department heads to align initiatives with business priorities.·       Set, monitor, and achieve performance targets consistent with contractual and operational requirements.Business Development & Stakeholder Engagement·       Implement the business development strategy defined by the CEO and COO LATAM.·       Manage and sustain strong, long-term client relationships in Haiti after contracts are secured.·       Represent the company with key stakeholders, including government authorities, local partners, international organisations, and the business community.·       Promote the company’s reputation as a trusted partner in security and risk management.·       Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and briefings for executive management and board members,providing insights, performance updates, and strategic recommendations.3. Skills & Qualifications·       Strong expertise in security risk management, crisis response, and business continuity at a senior level.·       Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams across multiple departments.·       Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, International Relations, or related field.·       Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to represent the organisation at the highest levels.·       Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and ensuring contract delivery.·       Resilient, adaptable, and solution-oriented leader able to operate effectively in challenging environments.·       Strong project management expertise, ideally with a formal certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).·       Up-to-date understanding of national and regional affairs, with the ability to contextualise developments for business operations.·       Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, ISO31000, SRMC) strongly preferred.·       Fluency in French (written and spoken) is highly beneficial.
