Job Description

As Country Manager for Romania, you will be responsible for the strategic development and operational management of the company in this market. You will define and implement an ambitious growth strategy, adapting offerings and approaches to the specificities of the Romanian market. You will also be responsible for managing local teams, overseeing operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Main Responsibilities: • Strategy and Commercial Development: o Define and implement the company's commercial strategy in Romania, in agreement with senior management. o Analyze the Romanian market, identify growth opportunities, and assess risks. o Adapt product and service offerings to the needs of the Romanian market. o Develop and maintain a network of local partners (distributors, integrators, etc.). o Oversee commercial prospecting and sales activities. o Achieve and exceed set revenue and profitability targets. • Operations Management: o Oversee the daily operations of the company in Romania. o Ensure the financial management of the country (budget, expense tracking, reporting). o Manage legal and regulatory aspects (compliance, contracts, etc.). o Oversee customer relationship management and ensure customer satisfaction. o Optimize operational processes for increased efficiency. • Team Management: o Recruit, train, and supervise local teams (sales, technical, administrative). o Define individual and collective team objectives. o Motivate teams, promote skill development. o Ensure fluid and transparent communication within the teams. • External Relations : o Represent the company to partners, customers, and local institutions. o Participate in events and trade shows to promote the company. o Develop the company's brand awareness in the Romanian market• Reporting : o Report regularly to senior management on the company's activity in Romania. o Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze results. o Propose corrective actions in case of deviations from the objectives. Required Profile : • Experience: o Minimum 6 years of experience in business development and company management, ideally in the IT sector. o Proven experience in managing multicultural teams. o Experience in the Romanian market is a major asset. • Skills : o Strong skills in strategic management and business development. o Ability to define and implement a growth strategy. o Excellent team management skills. o Mastery of financial, legal, and regulatory aspects related to running a business. o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. o Ability to negotiate and influence. o Proficiency in office tools (Office Suite) and management tools. • Languages : o English: fluent (spoken and written). o French: an asset. • Education : o Bachelor's / Master degree in business, management, or equivalent. Personal Qualities : • Leadership and ability to unite. • Strategic vision and results-oriented. • Initiative and autonomy. • Organizational skills and rigor. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Adaptability and flexibility. • Sense of responsibility and commitment. To Apply:To apply, please send your CV and cover letter to job@synelia.tech by indicating "Application for Country Manager position" in the subject line.Application deadline: Monday, November 16, 2025.
