We are seeking a motivated Country Regulatory Manager.The position is responsible for the coordination and execution of relevant regulatory initiatives in all sites, providing support for obtaining permits to carry out research and production activities with regulated products in Chile.Besides, the role provides guidance and support to the Arica, Viluco, Temuco and Paine sites regarding current regulations.This role also provides direct support to the RAS Seeds Leader- Chile to ensure all Chile programs and teams are in full alignment with local Regulatory Agency requirements and regional/global Corteva Stewardship & Compliance standards.The position will be responsible for implementing all the initiatives connected to Gene Editing and Biofuels at local level, in alignment to the Chile RAS Seeds Leader, as well as future projects related to Global RAS Seeds strategy.All activities are in coordination and collaboration with operation leaders, and other leaders balancing priorities, and resources.It is hereby stated that the position is of exclusive trust for the company.Your ChallengeProvide direct Support to the RAS Seeds Leader Chile, executes and coordinates regulatory activities, supervises team, and ensures timelines and compliance.Coordinate the submission of information required by regulations to SAG: Submit GMO dossiers to SAG (CRD & SRD) and NBT’s.Responsible for being the expert and providing the different teams and programs in Chile with high level guidance on regulatory and phytosanitary matters involving seed and plant material movements, ensuring that all shipments sent to and from Chile comply with all current Chile and international regulations.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key regulatory agencies and any other officials organism as needed.Implement different projects in connection with Gene Editing and Biofuels in Chile, aligned to global and regional strategy provided by the Chile RAS Seeds Leader.Monitor industry trends and provide insights to internal teams. Provide direct Support to the RAS Seeds Leader Chile, by submitting the corresponding document to request the necessary permits for the import of agrochemical products without registration in Chile for use in seeds for export purposes.}Interact with the Compliance global and of the local sites to guarantee the mitigation of any potential incident and delivery information to SAG.Generate procedures and protocols to standardize processes.Supervise hybrid seed certification for local market access.To Grow What Matters, You Will Need Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Biology, or related. 4–5 years of experience in Regulatory, Compliance, QA, or Seed Operations. Strong knowledge of GMO/NBT regulations and phytosanitary requirements. Fluency in written and spoken English. Attention to detail, ability to track complex regulatory matters, and ensure compliance. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical decision-making capabilities. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects aligned with business needs.Desired Experience Experience interacting with government agencies and regulatory bodies. Ability to resolve shipping, import/export, and compliance-related issues. Skilled in risk assessment, regulatory planning, and process improvement.
