Our solutions serve architects, contractors, and fabricators across Germany and globally, helping to create durable, aesthetically outstanding, and environmentally responsible buildings.Role OverviewNedZink is seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Country Sales Manager to lead our sales team for the German Market. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, expanding our market presence, and elevating our brand within the architectural metals industry, with a specific focus on zinc products. Furthermore, he/she will be responsible for defining the budgets, the local sales policy and the follow up of the results of the German Market. He will manage contacts with Key Accounts, follow up the activities of his team members and be the relay between the commercial, production and logistic activities first of all in Oberhausen but also in Belgium (Louvain-la-Neuve) and central teams in the Netherlands. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of building physics, façade systems, and roofing techniques, with proven experience in non-ferrous metals used for architectural applications. This position offers an excellent opportunity to influence project specifications, work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors, and contribute significantly to the advancement of sustainable building solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy Development & Execution: Develop, implement, and continuously refine targeted sales strategies to grow NedZink’s presence in the German market, focusing on architectural zinc products and Rainwater Systems and ancilliaries. Identify key market segments and tailor approaches to meet client needs.Key Account Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with the Key Accounts of the market (distributors and installers) and also keep in touch with architects, specifiers, engineers and contractors. Technical Consultancy & Support: Provide expert technical advice on the specification, design, and application of NedZink products. Assist clients in understanding building physics principles related to moisture management, thermal behavior, and structural integration of façade and roofing systems. Address complex technical inquiries and problem-solve site-specific challenges.Management of the Sales Team Define the objectives of the team members, write the sales action plans for the sales people and follow up the actions and the results of the team. Coach and correct when necessary Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates, and accurate forecasts. Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.Travel & Site Visits: Regularly visit client offices, construction sites, and fabrication workshops to provide hands-on support, conduct product inspections, and build rapport with project teams. Approx. 2 sales meetings a month in Budel (HQ) or another branch within NedZink.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s or Master degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Building Physics, or related technical discipline preferred (BAC +5).Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Management Specific expertise in non-ferrous metals such as zinc, copper, or aluminum for façade and roofing applications is highly desirable.Proven track record of successfully developing and managing B2B sales accounts in German MarketExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Self-motivated with a strong customer orientation and ability to work independently.Willingness to travel regularly within Germany: client meetings, site visits, and industry events.People manager, team playerA+ level in German (spoken and written), good knowledge of English (spoken and written), knowledge of French is a surplus What We OfferCompetitive salary package commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus scheme.Company car Flexible working arrangements including remote working options.How to ApplyInterested candidates are invited to submit a CV and cover letter outlining their relevant experience and motivation for applying to: Johan.bessemans@nedzink.nl
