The role oversees end-to-end project execution, service contracts, pricing, and customer lifecycle management for Data Center Infrastructure and Telecom Power Solutions, ensuring excellence in delivery, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This is a leadership position combining technical depth, commercial acumen, and people management. The portfolio will later expand to include Industrial Automation (IA) and Building Automation (BA) services, providing long-term career growth and scope expansion - We are open to candidates both in Johor Bahru or Kuala Lumpur.Job Responsibilities:Service Leadership & StrategyLead and manage the country services organization, including project managers, delivery engineers, maintenance service managers, and field service engineers.Define and execute strategies for service quality, customer satisfaction, and business growth.Drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and compliance with safety and quality standards.Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE regulations, and quality standards across all service and project operations.Represent the company in key customer meetings and strategic discussions.Work closely with regional and global service functions to align local execution with overall service strategy, processes, and performance goals.Project Implementation & DeliveryManage end-to-end delivery of Data Center and Telecom power projects — from planning and resourcing to commissioning and handover.Monitor project budgets, schedules, and milestones to ensure on-time and on-spec completion.Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure seamless project execution and customer alignment.Service Contract Management & Customer EngagementOversee execution of service and maintenance contracts, ensuring SLA and KPI compliance.Lead customer-fronting service negotiations for contracts, renewals, and escalations.Manage warranty, RMA, and lifecycle services to ensure long-term customer satisfaction.Develop and maintain trusted customer relationships through transparent communication and reliable support.Pricing & Proposal ManagementLead the preparation and review of service pricing proposals, ensuring commercial competitiveness and profitability.Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Regional Service Teams to validate scope, costing, and contract terms.Ensure proposal governance by reviewing scope, pricing rationale, and commercial risk before submission to management or customers.Maintain pricing consistency across service offerings and support margin improvement initiatives.Participate in bid reviews and customer negotiations for major service projects and contracts.Business & Financial ManagementOwn and manage the country services P&L, achieving annual revenue, margin, and cost-efficiency targets.Identify and pursue opportunities for new maintenance contracts, upgrades, and service innovations.Forecast and manage operational budgets to sustain financial performance and growth.Team DevelopmentBuild, mentor, and motivate a high-performing service organization with strong technical and project skills.Implement structured performance metrics and competency development plans.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.Role Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s preferred).Certifications: PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred; ATD, ITIL, CDCP, or CDCS credentials are advantageous.12–15 years in project delivery or service operations in Data Center, Power, or Telecom industries, with at least 5 years in a managerial or customer-facing leadership role.Proven ability to manage service pricing, contract negotiations, and proposal preparation.In-depth understanding of UPS, LV/MV systems, cooling, and power infrastructure.Strong P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting experience.Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team-building abilities.Strategic and commercially minded leader with customer-first focus.Strong negotiator with sound financial and technical judgment.Skilled in balancing service excellence, cost control, and growth objectives.Adaptable to expanding responsibilities in automation and building services.
