Courier Driver

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering packages, documents, and other items to customers in a safe and timely manner. This role requires strong time-management skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to navigate efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesPick up and deliver packages to designated locations promptly and safely.Plan delivery routes and follow time schedules.Load, unload, and organize items in the delivery vehicle.Obtain delivery confirmations, signatures, or other required documentation.Maintain communication with dispatch regarding delivery status and delays.Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (e.g., fuel, oil, tires).Ensure the security of the items being transported.Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times.Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.RequirementsValid NSW driver’s license with a clean driving record.Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role is preferred.Good knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.Ability to operate smartphones, GPS, and route navigation systems.Strong organizational and time management skills.Physical ability to lift and carry packages (up to 24kg).Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.Applicants are subject to a criminal history check.Job Types: Full-time, SubcontractPay: $200.00 – $400.00 per dayWork Location: In person
