Job DetailsDescriptionJOB DESCRIPTIONBrewerThe brewer position is responsible for carrying out brewhouse and cellar operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a team player mentality.

Roles and Responsibilities Operate the Brewhouse; following recipes and ensuring overall quality Yeast management; following all procedures for harvesting, pitching, cell concentrationand viability checks Cleaning and Sanitizing of tanks, filter equipment, hoses, etc Dose, blend, and mix products Understanding and practicing all internal safety standards Assist in a new project and product development Brewing area housekeeping Assist with creation and maintenance of SOP’s Perform organizational tasks and problem solving Other Duties As RequiredQualifications and Requirements Formal Brewing Experience, 1-2 Years Experience Preferred.

 Education in Brewing, Food Science, Chemistry or Microbiology an asset Able to perform minor maintenance repairs Strong work ethic, punctuality, team work and proactivity Strong organizational and time management skills; Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and; A strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize. Working Conditions Position may require long periods of standing and walking; Required to work in a loud, open area; May be required to lift heavy objects and complete tasks that are physically demanding,and; Required to meet a number of deadlines which may cause stress.
