SyriaCP, GP Outreach Worker - JarablusOrganizationIYD International Humanitarian Relief AssociationPosted 8 Aug 2025 Closing date 12 Aug 2025Job PurposeThe role of the CP, GP outreach Worker is to prepare and implement the Protection Monitoring Assessments and child protection situation monitoring assessments in targeted areas through daily outreach visits, She/he will provide CP, GP, risk education, and mine action sessions in the targeted areas, reception centers and camps and update the service mapping on monthly basis. Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and conduct CP, GP, mine action, and risk education awareness-raising sessions for beneficiaries at the target camps, community centers, and outreach field level.

Prepare and implement protection monitoring assessments and child protection situation monitoring assessments in the targeted communities. Ensure the safe identification of vulnerable and at-risk individuals mostly those affected by the EQs and GP and CP cases to be referred to the needed services as per the most updated service mapping. Contribute to the designing and implementation of activities in campaigns and events. Introduce the project, disseminate information, and update service mapping through daily outreach visits. Attendrequested training and meetings when available or requested in coordination with the CP field supervisor and/or program coordinator.

Prepare and submit reports and documentation for activities on time and report directly to the team leader and CP field supervisor. Participate in building the capacity of community committees. Implementing emergency response for displaced people in new displacement situations. Note: The above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Other future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department's organizational chart. Qualification (Education/Work Experience)Essential: University / institute degree in Psychological counseling/Psychology, Social Sciences, sociology, Education, Law, or any other related field of study. Previous practical experience in the same job position in an NGO.

Having basic proficiency in using e-mails and filling in beneficiaries’ information on electronic forms. Commitment to the basic morals of working with vulnerable people and respecting confidentiality. Ability to work independently and with a team at the same time. Ability to conduct individual and group awareness-raising sessions and group activities in CP and GP issues. DesirableMaster's degree in Education, law or Social Sciences. More than three years of professional experience in the same position. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
