This role is responsible for the management of Channel Partner Manager to Direct Sales Partners (DSPs), Value-Added Distributors (VADs), and Indirect Sales Partners (ISPs) across Japan. The focus is on managing and developing existing partner relationships, onboarding and developing new channel partners, and aiming to meet or exceed PTC’s regional growth expectations. The position reports directly to Vice President, Partner Business in Japan.ResponsibilitiesManagement of Channel Partner Manager to drive the partner business in JapanDrive sales through strategic partners and achieve/exceed assigned quotasPromote account and annual business planning with ISPs and VADsLead quarterly business reviews and planning sessions with ISPs and VADsConduct accurate forecasting and pipeline reviews with ISPs and VADsEnsure channel partners understand and leverage PTC’s marketing and sales campaigns to maximize resultsExecute business development activities and sales campaigns to drive additional salesDevelop programs and plans with VADs to recruit, onboard, and grow ISPs to enhance channel capabilities and market coverageCoordinate marketing activities to effectively support sales programsSupport channel partners in developing and growing their business in line with PTC’s expectationsEnsure distribution partners deliver agreed value to the reseller landscapeFully understand and articulate PTC’s products and strategiesConduct all business ethically and in accordance with company procedures and guidelinesFrequent domestic travel within JapanExperienceOver 10 years of experience including sales and management in the software industryProven track record in channel sales developmentExperience in channel sales and specifically well-experienced in the partner programExperience working in multicultural environments is a plusDemonstrated success working across various departmentsExperience in both partner sales and direct sales is desirableProfileNative-level Japanese and business-level English requiredExcellent communication and presentation skillsDeep understanding of distributor business and organizational structuresAbility to work in a dynamic environmentStrong self-motivation, flexibility, and proactivenessLife at PTC is about more than working with today’s most cutting-edge technologies to transform the physical world.
