Job Description

We’re Protest Sportswear: a design-led Dutch sportswear brand with boardsports roots, made for active lifestyles. Since 1993 our mission has been simple—help everyone ride more—driven by fun and the ambition to get there. We are looking for a Creative Graphic & Video Designer (24 hours per week, with an extension to 32–40 hours due to maternity leave from March 2026 to June 2026).As a Creative Graphic & Video Designer, you’ll translate our brand values into powerful visuals that elevate every touchpoint. You’re a conceptual thinker who’s hands-on in both graphic design and video editing, using visual storytelling to inspire our audience. What you’ll do Develop concepts and design layouts for sales tools, advertisements (incl. social ads and banners), POS materials and other communications—always on-brand and aligned with our mission and values.Edit and produce video content for social media and campaigns.Create short, high-impact reels and motion graphics that fit our brand style and audience.Collaborate with the Social Media Coordinator to produce on-trend social content.Retouch packshot/product photography alongside the Studio Photographer.Safeguard and evolve our visual identity in partnership with the Marketing Manager.Support European marketing teams with day-to-day creative needs.Manage timelines and deliver assets on schedule.Maintain our image library—organise and structure assets across server and backups.Further develop Protest’s graphic language (sometimes with external creative agencies).About you A relevant creative degree in fashion/graphic design (or comparable experience).2+ years’ relevant experience.Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and a video editor (e.g., Premiere Pro or After Effects).A creative self-starter: visually sharp, solution-oriented, and able to work independently.Resilient, enthusiastic, flexible, and a true team player.Affinity with boardsports is a plus. What we offerA contract for 24 hours per week, with a temporary increase to 32–40 hours between March and June 2026.Salary in line with MITT Collective Labour Agreement, scale 7 (€3,050–€3,785 per month based on 40 hours), pro-rated to your contracted hours and experience.25 days’ holiday (based on 40 hours) + option to purchase 7 extra days.Excellent benefits, including a good pension scheme, hybrid working policy and corporate fitness.Plenty of room for personal development.An informal, enthusiastic team and a dynamic, creative, fast-growing environment.Great product perks—your wardrobe may double before you know it!Does this sound like your ideal job?Apply now and tell us why you are the creative graphic & video designer we are looking for.
