Creative Lead (COPY)

At dentsu Creative, we are looking for a Creative Lead to guide the creative journey from ideation and team leadership to client presentations and strategic execution. You will work in a multifaceted role, conceptualising and realising ideas with the use of language and the written word. To succeed, you need to understand our clients’ business challenges and have commercial acumen.

Tasks & ResponsibilitiesWrite narratives, scripts, storyboards, annotations and treatmentsPresent ideas with clarity, on brand, on message, and targeted to the audienceComprehend and understand brand continuity, brand guidelines and brand positioningExecute creative concepts in collaboration with an Art DirectorDevelop language and copy in short form and long form to establish the tonality of ideas.

Support the effective use of technology in solving business problemsParticipate in pitch workIdentify opportunities for creative client projects in collaboration with Account Directors and Client ManagersDrive, define and give feedback on briefs, regular reviews, feedback channels, creative quality and collaborationMentor junior team members and encourage continuous learning across the teamQualifications+6 years of experience in an agency or in-houseProven track record of leading and delivering multichannel campaignsA portfolio that reflects sharp conceptual thinking and impactful execution, especially in copy-led ideasExtensive experience with copywriting and ability to write across mediums; film, social, digital, brand, and campaign workYou can craft everything from big campaign platforms to sharp headlines and punchy scriptsExperience as a mentor with the ability to guide creative teams and grow talentExperience with pitching; communicates strategy and creative rationale clearly and persuasivelyFluency in Finnish and English is required.
