This video editor will shape the visual storytelling of their social fashion and lifestyle content. They will be instrumental in bringing the brand vision of this large high street retailer to life through video, with elevated and fashion-forward content.Initially a 12 months Fixed Term Contract (FTC) with a possibility that the post will become permanent, our client is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible, subject to notice periods.Occasionally supporting on edits for wider campaign videos as needed, the ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in-house at a brand and so will understand the dynamic and will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Working closely with the creative and marketing teams to align on visual direction, storytelling and pacing, the Post holder will edit compelling video content for a variety of formats, including both paid and organic social media, brand films, BTS and interviews.The desire and ability to stay current on visual, editing and cultural trends to ensure our content feels fresh and relevant, especially in the social space, is paramount. You must possess a deep understanding of video content trends across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging formats. You must have a strong portfolio demonstrating social-first edits as well as longer-form storytelling.With a strong sense of timing, music and fashion aesthetics, the perfect candidate will also have experience working in a fast-paced creative environment with multiple deliverables.This is an on-site role, working at a central London Edit Suite, however, there will be some flexibility in terms of hybrid working, depending on workflow.Company DescriptionSoho Editors Talent & Training is a leading UK-based specialist recruiter for creative media professionals.
