Credit and Collections Analyst

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Credit and Collections Analyst at our corporate office in Portsmouth, NH.ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Make collection calls to existing customer base while monitoring credit limits and past due.Prepares and sends Accounts Receivable past due notices. Follows up as necessary with telephone calls and/or written communications. Logs all activity in individual customer files in computer.Processes new customer credit applications, and research customers' financials, organizational and payment history utilizing credit reference letters and credit reports.Prepares accounts for 3rd party action.Performs daily reconciling of misapplied cash, duplicate payments, etc.Transmits available credit experience information on selected customers to approved credit group association.Prepares and submits various accounts receivable reports, such as accounts receivable statistics, aged accounts receivable, and days sales outstanding.Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.Education And ExperienceRequired: Associate degree, or equivalent experience, in Accounting, Business Administration or similar Collections.Preferred: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Accounting, Business Administration or similar area of study, and zero to three years previous experience.What You'll EnjoyIndustry leading benefitsMultiple and flexible medical plansOutstanding PTO programFloating HolidaysStrong 401k program and company matchTuition reimbursement planCollege loan reimbursementCollege scholarship program for dependentsParental Leave ProgramInclusive cultureEmployee engagement eventsEmployee resource groupsWIN Waste Innovations is a waste management company committed to delivering essential waste management solutions to customers and communities supported by our team of 2,300 employees.
