Its operations are rooted in building sustainable financial solutions for diverse industries within the market.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Credit Investigations Officer, located in Cairo, Egypt. The Credit Investigations Officer will conduct detailed investigations of financial and credit data, verify evidence, assess risks, and draft comprehensive reports. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with other departments, analyzing data for patterns or risks, and ensuring the accuracy of all findings and reports.• Preparing reports includes field visits to activity premises (administrative office / factory / warehouse / completed or ongoing projects).• Consulting the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) network.• Consulting reports from the Egyptian Credit Bureau (I.SCORE) and preparing security inquiry reports.• Reviewing protest and bankruptcy reports received from Bank of Alexandria.• Consulting various sources (banking/market) to ascertain the status of the client's dealings with them.• Examining documents received from the Relationship Manager (RM) or from the client, identifying documents that need to be completed, and communicating with the Relationship Manager, the client, or their representative to obtain those documents.• Preparing the required report on the client and submitting it to the relevant departments.• Updating our internal database with information received from the Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority (disposition restrictions / lifting of disposition restrictions / terrorist lists / terrorist entities, ........).• Responding to inquiries from various departments within the company (updating the consolidated client position extracted from the CBE network, updating I.SCORE reports, consulting market and banking sources to ascertain the latest developments regarding the client).• Daily monitoring of newspapers and websites to learn about new political or economic events that may affect certain activities, or reviewing any positive or negative news related to our clients or the companies we deal with, and submitting a report on any negatives concerning the existing or prospective companies we deal with.• Creating an archive for all old and new reports and documents (whether paper-based or on the company's shared drive) by assigning file numbers, inventorying and organizing files, taking scanned copies of them, and saving them.QualificationsProficient in Analytical Skills for examining credit data and identifying risk factors.Strong Communication and Report Writing skills for presenting findings clearly and professionally.High attention to detail and accuracy in investigations and documentation.Relevant education or work experience in finance, investigations, or related fields.Familiarity with financial or risk assessment tools is a plus.
