Credit Officer

With strong backing, a flat organization, and bold growth plans, we’re now looking for another Credit Officer to join us and shape the future of small business owners.The roleAs a Credit Officer within the Credit Domain, you will play an important role in managing and making decisions on large and complex credits in seven different markets. This role involves conducting ad-hoc analyses, monitoring the overall loan and card portfolio and contributing to compliance and credit-focused projects.The Credit Officer acts as a support function for our country-specific underwriters, providing expert guidance and feedback on credit-related tasks. You’ll also be responsible for educating and updating underwriters on Qred’s procedures and closely monitoring the progress and quality of credit decisions.ResponsibilitiesSupport country-specific functions in decisions regarding large and/or complex credits per the credit policyAlert country-specific teams to additional information that may be needed to make a well-founded decisionIdentify areas for improvement within our assessment strategiesDrive internal and external projects to improve the Credit decisionsExtract data from our database to analyze, evaluate trends and perform controlsContribute feedback to develop our automated services, primarily our Qred Scoring Algorithm (QSA)QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or comparable experience within the required fieldAt least 5 years of relevant experience within Underwriting Skills And CompetenciesStrong understanding of financial documentation, like profit and loss statements and annual reportsBasic understanding of accounting principlesProficiency in underwritingFluent in the English languageExcel skills (formula creation and ad-hoc analysis of exported data)Skills and Competencies that will make you stand out from the rest Project management skills or experienceExperience of B2B credit cards or factoring SQL skills or experience One last thing - if you’re about to send in your applicationThis is a full-time, permanent position based in Stockholm.
