About the Role:The Risk Management Team at Zalopay is looking for a sharp and curious Data Analyst to join us and become a core expert in our lending portfolio. Your mission will be to analyze our lending products (like BNPL and Cash Loans), monitor portfolio health, and use data to drive key credit strategy decisions, from underwriting to collections. You will work with large datasets to find the "Goldilocks point"—balancing growth with an acceptable level of risk.Key Responsibilities:Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track the health of our lending portfolio (e.g., approval rates, delinquency rates).Credit Risk Analysis: Conduct deep-dive, ad-hoc analyses to investigate and explain unusual changes in credit performance. You'll be the detective who figures out why the numbers are changing.Whitelist & Underwriting Strategy: Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for whitelist expansion and the refinement of our underwriting rules.Model & Policy Collaboration: Work closely with Data Scientists and Product teams to analyze the performance of credit models and review new lending policies, pointing out potential flaws and opportunities.Stakeholder Communication: Translate your complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for Business and Product leaders.Requirements:(Must-Have)Strong SQL Skills: The ability to write complex queries to extract and manipulate large datasets is essential.Analytical & Problem-Solving Mindset: You must be able to break down ambiguous problems, form hypotheses, and use data to find the root cause.Data Storytelling: Proficiency in using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or a BI tool (like Tableau/Power BI) to analyze data and present your findings clearly.Ownership & Diligence: A reliable and proactive attitude. You take ownership of your analysis and are obsessed with the quality of your work.Proficient English Skills: Above-average English proficiency, equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.5 or higher.(Nice-to-Have)Experience with Python/R: Familiarity with a statistical programming language for more advanced analysis is a strong plus.Credit Risk Experience: 1+ years of experience in a data-focused role within consumer lending, banking, or fintech is highly desirable.
