As the Director of People & Culture, you will be responsible for shaping the associate experience, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting the overall success of each hotel through strategic P&C Management.

Serve as a strategic partner to the General Manager and Executive Committee. Lead property efforts in talent planning succession and workforce strategy.

Talent ManagementDevelop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top hospitality talent for leadership and hourly positions across all departments, as needed. Oversee full cycle recruitment and selections for all hotel open roles. Associate Relations & EngagementFoster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment. Serve as a credible, visible and trusted advisor to managers and associates on P&C matters. Timely address and resolve associate concerns, ensuring compliance with company policies. Organize associate engagement and recognition programs in alignment with Crescent’s associate recognition and communication initiatives. Lead the Associate Engagement Survey process and action planning.

Training & DevelopmentFacilitate training programs to enhance associate job skills and guest service focus and delivery. Oversee leadership development and succession planning efforts. Ensure timely and comprehensive compliance training all associates. Performance Management & DevelopmentPartner with hotel department leaders to create and develop plans for high potential associates. Lead the performance review process and ensure all associates receive meaningful and timely feedback. Compensation & BenefitsManage payroll processes in collaboration with Finance to ensure accuracy and compliance. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.

Assist associates with requests for FMLA & personal LOA paperwork and coordinates the collection of insurance premium payments. Monitor industry trends to ensure competitive compensation structures. Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. Maintain up-to-date associate records and P&C documentation. Lead workplace investigations and implement corrective actions as needed. Oversee workplace safety programs and support risk mitigation strategies. Manage all labor relations activities and ensure compliance of negotiated union contract(s). Respond to all grievances in writing, negotiate settlements and act as the hotel representative at all arbitrations.

Required Skills/AbilitiesFive years' Hotel Human Resources/People & Culture Director/Management experience required. Demonstrated successfully driving and maintaining high employee engagement. Experience conducting training sessions. Brand experience is highly desired. Proficient in financial and accounting procedures. Fluency in English language (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential.
