Job Description

The Crewing Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of vessels by maintaining a skilled and competent crew onboard. This role involves coordinating with Masters, Operations, and the Marine Manager to manage the complete lifecycle of crew management, including sourcing, contracts, training, logistics, and travel arrangements. The Crewing Officer is instrumental in maintaining crew availability and compliance, ensuring that vessels are staffed with the right personnel to meet operational needs.Your Responsibilities:Crew Management and PlanningManage crew changes, including travel, visas, and documentation.Utilize system for crew assignments and planning.Coordinate with Masters to fill vacancies and ensure timely crew rotations.Maintain and update crew databases and candidate pipelines.Collaborate with subject matter experts to select qualified crew members.Competency Assurance and ComplianceOversee crew certification validity and pre-joining routines.Ensure required training is completed before crew mobilization.Identify training needs and organize sessions per the Training Matrix.Logistics and Travel CoordinationArrange travel logistics, including flights, accommodation, and visas.Optimize travel arrangements in collaboration with logistics and travel agents.Your Qualifications:Proficiency in English is required.Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in an industrial or offshore environment, preferably with international exposure.Proficient in crewing management systems and strong knowledge of IT tools and the MS Office suite.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle unexpected changes in crew assignments and logistics.Attention to detail and commitment to ensuring compliance with industry regulations.Adaptability to fast-changing situations and the ability to work under pressure (given the 24/7 operations).Availability for on-call duties.If you're interested in the job, please click the 'Apply Here' button and submit your CV.
