As a Crimson Boarding & Day School Admissions Consultant, you will work 1: 1 with students applying to top-tier U. S.
middle and high schools, supporting their candidacy development, school selection, and the application process. You will also be involved with expanding Crimson’s BDSA program, working cross-functionally with sales teams, marketing teams, service, and potential clients. This is a full-time position, servicing students globally with a primary focus on East Asia. What this role is responsible for:
Candidacy DevelopmentSet targets for academic, extracurricular, and personal growth to maximize candidacy (course selection, testing, activities, student’s personal maturity and ability to speak reflectively about their interests)Create a detailed roadmap outlining the student’s growth trajectorySchool SelectionOffer expert perspective on the U. S.
private school industry, including boarding and day schoolsGuide school researchHelp student build a balanced school list based on fit and candidacyCoach student & family around school visitsCall selected schools as needed to advocate for student and ensure appropriate matchApplication ProcessGuide and review use of application portalsGuide acquisition of recommendation lettersGuide completion of parent statements and financial formsGuide scheduling of admissions events and interviewsPlan essay topics and review final essaysPrepare student for interviewsInternal Service SupportCollaborate with the rest of each student’s Crimson team (i. e.
Student Success Manager, Academic Tutors, Application Mentor, ECL Mentor) to execute on the student’s roadmapSupport Sales teams in select initial consultations to explain Crimson’s products and services to potential clientsPresent on the U. S.
Boarding and Day School Admissions product for seminars or expositions in local marketsProduct DevelopmentDevelop Crimson’s relationships with private boarding and day schools, ensuring we can provide more meaningful, tailored matching recommendations to studentsIdentify gaps in service and develop systematic, scalable solutions, focusing on high quality service delivery, client satisfaction, and stellar admissions resultsTrain service, sales, and marketing teams as needed to implement and/or comfortably speak to the latest product visionExperience RequiredGraduated from a Top 30 U. S. or U. K. universityExperience working with young adolescentsExperience working with international clients, specifically from Asia-PacificPrevious U. S.
