You will develop and refine crisis structures, strengthen alerting and communication procedures, and lead scenario planning and exercises. Our five essentials are the values that unite us and guide us in our commitment to freedom.How you'll make an impactCrisis Preparedness & Responsedesign, maintain, and further develop the global crisis management policy, ensuring clear ownership, escalation paths, and coordination processes and coordinate the setup and activation of the AS Crisis Team, including role definitions and decision workflowsestablish and refine alerting and communication procedures to ensure fast and structured crisis responseplan, execute, and evaluate crisis exercises and scenario-based simulations across international unitsdevelop and roll out templates, structures, and training materials to ensure consistent crisis preparedness across brands and countries and integrate and optimize digital preparedness tools for real-time situational awarenessGlobal Threat & Resilience Analysislead Global Threat Analysis (GTA) – structured evaluation of geopolitical and global developments affecting Axel Springer’s people, brands, and operations and develop foresight methodologies to strengthen long-term resilience and preparednessmonitor geopolitical, societal, and security-related developments, including elections, unrest, terrorism, and infrastructure disruptions and prepare situation reports, early-warning briefings, and decision support materials for senior managementcollaborate with international colleagues across the U.S., EU, and Germany, ensuring alignment in threat monitoring and crisis response What you'll needa strong background in crisis management, security operations, or global analysisexperience developing crisis policies, alerting systems, and exercise programsstrong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex developments into actionable insightsunderstanding of geopolitical risks and their implications for business and media operationsa proactive, independent, and structured working style combined with a collaborative mindsetvery good English skills; German (min.
