Advanced Health Care Assistant

The Advanced Health Care Assistant (HCA) will offer nursing, phlebotomy, administrative and general clinical assistance to the Sexual Health & HIV team. The HCA will liaise closely with and report directly to the Lead Nurses for Sexual Heatlh. The HCA will work under the direct supervision of a first level registered nurse with guidelines and protocols. Knowledge of HIVTo have an appropriate knowledge of HIV, and the treatment and management of this condition. To promote a sensitive and caring approach to patient, visitors and colleagues.

To ensure communications with patients and their relatives are supportive and informative with due regard to confidentiality.
