Job DescriptionSenior Client Accountant, Capital MarketsLocation: St Helier, JerseyDepartment: Global Capital MarketsJob Type: Permanent, HybridHours: 35 hours per weekAbout The RoleAs a Senior Client Accountant in our growing Capital Markets team, you’ll be part of CSC – the world’s leading provider of business, legal, tax, and digital brand services. You’ll support the delivery of specialist accounting and financial services across a range of capital markets structures. Working closely with senior team members and clients, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, high-quality financial reporting while gaining exposure to complex, international transactions.

Key ResponsibilitiesReview transaction documentation and determine appropriate accounting treatment for SPVs and cell companiesSet up and maintain general ledgers, ensuring accuracy in line with transaction requirementsPost journal entries and maintain up-to-date accounting recordsPrepare annual financial statements (IFRS or local GAAP), including all required disclosuresLiaise with auditors to deliver audited accounts within deadlinesProduce monthly and quarterly management accounts and other client deliverablesPrepare and file corporation tax returnsResolve technical accounting queries by working with clients and relevant counterpartiesReview work prepared by colleagues and contribute to process improvement initiativesGain exposure to a wide variety of capital markets structures and financial productsYour profileACA or ACCA (or equivalent) qualifiedBackground in financial services or accountancy practiceStrong technical accounting knowledge, ideally with audit exposureHighly organised, detail-focused and able to meet deadlinesTeam player with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsProfessional, reliable and motivated, with a collaborative approachProficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPointAbout UsCSC is a global business, legal, and financial services company based in Wilmington, Delaware, USA, providing knowledge-based solutions to clients worldwide.
