CSI Coordinator

We are looking for someone who is passionate and a driven individual to lead our CSI portfolio. At Ackermans, we’re looking for a changemaker to plan, coordinate, implement, and monitor our Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programmes ensuring every initiative makes a real difference in the communities we serve.We're a fully in-office team. This role is based at our Support Centre in Kuils River, Cape Town.Qualification RequiredEssential:Grade 12 Certificate / MatricPreferred:Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools: Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, etc.Knowledge & Skills Required:Project planning and implementationGeneral CSI landscape and charitable organisations within South AfricaEarly Childhood Development and social investment organisations related to women and childrenReporting and verification processes relevant to CSI and BBBEE ReportingExceptional communication skills, both verbal and written across all levels - must have a proven track record with writing progress report. Budgeting; input, tracking and overall managementBuild and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholdersExcellent prioritization skillsResilient in delivering outcomesAssertive with high levels of drive and initiativeStrong service & detail orientationSound planning, organizing and time management skillsProficiency in relevant computer programmes such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Experience Required:Essential:Minimum of 2 years successful experience in the planning, co-ordination, and implementation of multiple project-based programsPreferred:Experience working within a Corporate Social Investment team or environmentProven track record in growing and sustaining CSI programs, including but not limited to Community-based projects, Voluntary CSI for Employees, Donations and Sponsorships.Experience in sourcing and managing partners and suppliers to successfully implement CSI programmes and projectsSuccessful track record in recommending and managing budgets Other RequirementsValid driver’s license, with own vehicle preferredKey Responsibilities:Provide input into the annual Ackermans CSI strategy and implementation planPlan, coordinate, implement, monitor, and report on the Ackermans CSI flagship Ububele Schools early childhood development programme which includes local travel to schools and partners. Plan, coordinate, implement, monitor, and report on all other internal Ackermans CSI initiatives; including but not limited to International Nelson Mandela Day, employee volunteerism, donations and sponsorships, winter drives, etc. This includes local travel to facilitate implementation and attend necessary engagements.Coordinate, implement and monitor the Ackermans Ububele communication plan, ensuring maximum communication of all initiatives though the appropriate channels, i.e., radio, print, conferences, meetings, etc.Report on the progress and outcomes of all Ackermans CSI activities Propose, coordinate, and manage budgets allocated to Ackermans CSI projectsManage the administration requirements of the overall Ackermans CSI Programme.
