Job Summary: WCTG is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor to provide expert guidance on securing digital assets, mitigating cyber threats, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role involves assessing vulnerabilities, advising on security strategies, and implementing risk management protocols to protect sensitive data and systems. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and auditsDevelop and implement security policies, frameworks, and best practicesMonitor emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack trendsProvide technical recommendations to enhance security postureEnsure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CISA guidelinesCollaborate with IT teams to strengthen network, cloud, and endpoint securityLead incident response efforts and forensic investigationsTrain employees on cybersecurity awareness and risk preventionEngage with stakeholders, law enforcement, and third-party vendors on security mattersQualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (preferred)Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, or equivalent (a plus)Proven experience in cybersecurity risk management and threat analysisStrong understanding of encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection, and vulnerability managementExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate complex security issues to non-technical stakeholdersKnowledge of cloud security, zero-trust architecture, and emerging technologiesThe expected base salary for this position ranges from $170,000 to $190,000 Annually. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
