Financial Controller at a Global Technology ManufacturerWe are looking for an experienced financial controller to join CTS Danmark in Kvistgaard as Plant Controller. In this key role, you’ll act as a strategic partner to the site leadership, driving financial performance, ensuring strong compliance, and translating operational results into financial insight. The corporation is headquartered in USA, and has 20 locations in 12 countries and more than 3. 500 employees. CTS Danmark develops and manufactures ceramic components with piezoelectric properties. The products are widely used across major industries including med-tech, aerospace/ defense and the industrial sector. As the new Plant Controller, you will have 135 skilled colleagues in Denmark and report to the Global Business Unit Controller in Lisle, IL, USA with a dotted line to- and daily cooperation with the plant manager.

Your key responsibilitiesDeliver accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with Danish law and corporate standardsLead and enhance the forecasting and annual budgeting processSupport standard costing and manufacturing variance analysis (labor, PPV, scrap, etc. )Provide financial modeling and business case support for investment decisionsPrepare ad hoc financial analysis, including cost control, trend, and variance analysisEnsure compliance and support internal and external auditsParticipate in monthly reporting meetings with the CTS corporate management together with the Plant Manager.

Your qualificationsWe imagine you hold a BS or BA degree in Accounting or Finance and bring some years of relevant experience, ideally from a manufacturing environment. You have an understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards, and you are comfortable working with complex financial data and systems. While ERP experience with Oracle/ HFM or SAP is a plus, it is not a requirement, if you are prepared to working with these systems. An MBA is also an advantage but not essential for the role.

More importantly, you combine strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to financial management and business support. Your skills and mindsetYou are a good communicator who can clearly convey financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. As a leader, you bring coaching and mentoring skills that enable you to manage both on-site and remote team members effectively. You are culturally aware and navigate smoothly between Danish work culture and the expectations of a U. S. -based corporate environment. Having scheduled reporting meetings with colleagues/controllers in the US Central time zone will not be an issue for you.

You are fluent in Danish and fully proficient in English. Please note that you must already hold valid work authorization for this role, as we are not able to offer visa sponsorship.
