Cultivation Technician

WHERE PASSION MEETS CANNABIS CULTIVATIONCultivation Technicians will be responsible for properly executing daily tasks in Flower or Veg Rooms with full efficiency and a strong attention to detail. Those on the Cultivation Team will be required to demonstrate previous experience in a regulated horticulture environment with a preferable background in production management in comparable agriculture industries. These positions are expected to take direction from the Team Lead, and Head Grower and work directly with other support staff to comply with all daily production maintenance and plant health procedures throughout the duration of the flower phase for all plants in the facility. This position will work directly with other support staff to comply with all cloning, feeding and phase change procedures including METRC and data inputs.RequirementsPrior experience or knowledge in greenhouse management, landscape maintenance, or related fieldsProficiency in basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculationsFamiliarity with growing techniques and irrigation systems is advantageousAbility to work effectively in a team environment and communicate well with colleaguesStrong attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks meticulouslyFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as requiredResponsibilitiesExecute all aspects of cultivation related SOPs without direct supervision or oversightReport all irregularities or variances from the SOPs to the Head GrowerPerform all assigned tasks to completion each dayBe able to complete a variety of different tasks, including adhering to precise feeding schedules and maintain both plant health and stability throughout the duration of the flowering phaseMonitor various aspects of plant health including signs of disease or infestation and communicate any issues discovered to the Head Grower and apply necessary IPM applications as neededUnderstand all aspects of plant tracking and maintain the ability to manage all plant tags in full compliance of the CRA rules and regulationsUnderstand and work within the full range of regulatory compliance requirements and/or prohibitionsAccurately fill out and maintain up to date paperwork such as room maps, waste logs and harvest logs as neededProperly use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, spreadsheet applications and electronic mailPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, walking, and repetitive movementsProlonged exposure to heat, humidity, and high intensity artificial lightsMust be able to move and/or lift a maximum of 60 poundsMust be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl while working with ladders and heightsNote: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functionsBenefits offered after 90 days:Dental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceVision insuranceExperience:Commercial Cultivation: 1 year (Required)Commercial Cannabis: 1 year (Required)Expected hours:40 – 50 per weekJob Type: Full-timeStarting Pay: $15.00Find more vacancies at www.dacut.com/careersPowered by JazzHRJqLLchFpI1
