At Cummins we specialise in heavy vehicle repairs and maintenance across mining, on-highway, and power generation products.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: *Hands on work – using RF scanners to transact goods dispatchUsing hand powered trolleys 80% of the timeUsing forklifts 20% of the timeHands on work – using RF scanners to transact goods receiptUsing hand powered trolleys 80% of the timeUsing forklifts 20% of the timeHands on work creating consignments and booking transport80% keyboard data entry20% hands on moving boxed100% using forklift or PIV to move parts between workshops and warehouseParticipate in training and safety meetingsGeneral cleaning activity – 30 mins a dayDaily inventory management tasksTo be successful in this role, you will need the following:
*A current High Risk Forklift licence (preferable but not essential)WA driver’s licenceThe flexibility to work reasonable overtime as requiredPrevious warehousing/stores experience preferred but not essential – on the job training available to suitable applicantsPrevious experience in a customer facing role as part of a team would be beneficial Ability to work unsupervised and commit to undertaking all work safely and efficientlyIntermediate computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel) and can learn new systems and processes quicklyResponsibilitiesIntermediate level work experience requiredYou must be certified to operate forklifts and/or other warehouse machinery.
