Job Description

DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Plant Manager - CEP to join our team working onsite at our engine plant in Columbus, IN. CEP site leader, he/she will focus on building and sustaining a zero-injury safety culture, delivering high-quality products on time, promoting the right environment, and managing operational costs, while keeping our customers’ needs at the forefront of every decision. Responsible for coordinating around other BUs hosted in the site aligned initiatives around HSE, facilities and community.

Responsible for coordinating efforts with key stakeholders and customers to synchronize capacity plans ahead of demand needs while meeting Operations targets and implementing future product introduction into the site. Also, responsible to drive teamwork, efforts and implement projects to deliver sustainable savings for the HDM operation in alignment with 3in3 initiative. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Direct and manage relationships to meet customer needs. Directs and manages all plant functions to meet deliverables and drive improvements. Directs the use of Cummins values, processes, and procedures, including promoting the right environment.

Coaches and develops plant staff. Directs the development of strategies and goals to meet the overall business unit and enterprise objectives. Directs the impacts between the plant and the overall Supply Chain. Drives internal and external cross-functional interactions. Drives community involvement. QualificationsEducation/ExperienceCollege, university, or bachelor’s degree or higher, required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Significant level of relevant work experience, including managerial and budgetary experience, required. Broad business knowledge required. Union experience a plus.

CompensationPlease note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate. Min Salary $135000Max Salary $225000
