Job Description
Job LocationNationwide in Japan (remote work-based; frequent business trips required)Job ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end sales activities in the Japan region, including sales execution, technical communication, and collaboration with customers (tire enterprises) and the R&D/engineering team at company headquarters.Deliver sales and technical presentations to Japanese customers; conduct in-depth technical discussions to address customer needs, and liaison with headquarters engineers for technical support.Handle customer inquiries and RFQs (Request for Quotations), track RFQ progress, and ensure timely follow-up.Manage PO (Purchase Order) fulfillment, prepare commercial documents (quotations, specifications verification, invoices), and coordinate importation and delivery arrangements.Conduct sales and project management tasks, maintain long-term customer relationships (covering key tire enterprises in Japan), and collect market feedback to support product optimization.Undertake business trips (frequency over 50%), including training in China, participation in international exhibitions, and on-site customer visits across Japan (from Sendai/North to Kyushu/South).Job RequirementsEducational Background: Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related majors preferred).Industry Experience: Prior experience in sales of curing press equipment or tire industry equipment (e.g., tire building machines, molds, mixing machines) is highly preferred. Familiarity with tire manufacturing processes is a plus.Language Proficiency: Business-level fluency in both Japanese (spoken and written) and English (for communication with company headquarters).Competencies: Strong sales acumen, project management skills, cross-cultural communication ability, and willingness to travel frequently. Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams (headquarters R&D, production, logistics).
