The Front-End developer will manage the implementation of BAU change, and continuous enhancement items from our website backlog.

Alongside this, the role will also take a hands-on approach and support with small change and wider project pieces to ensure deadlines and targets are met. You will have a collaborative approach to developing new products, and updating existing ones, together with the wider UX / front-end / agile teams. You always have iD’s customers at the heart of your work and you will develop any product you deliver for all viewports, always.

You are eager to continuously learn new skills and techniques and are never afraid to challenge, or support, concepts/designs to ensure a better all-round user experience outcome. Role overview: As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

Architecting and implementing complex web interfacesCollaborating with UX/UI designers and back-end developersEnsuring scalability and performanceEvaluating and adopting emerging front-end technologiesConducting code reviews and maintaining code qualityAdvocating for web accessibility and best practicesTroubleshooting and resolving technical issuesContributing to the development of coding standardsContinuously improving development processesPresent your work, findings and updates to the wider teamWork with product owner(s) to manage pipelinesProactively seek out new ideas, input and feedbackWrite well-structured code that is easy to maintain and understandEnsure code is built to all provided viewports and is responsiveTest the teams development work (cross-browser, cross-platform and multi-device)Required Skills & Responsibilities:

EssentialMinimum 3 years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and with Frameworks such as BootstrapHighly proficient in Figma and JiraExperience in developing websites through a CMSFamiliar with best practices for usability, conversion rate optimisation and accessibility standardsAble to work under pressure, multitask and deliver to set KPIsStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsDesirableExperience working in Agile developmentQualifications: Practical experience of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is essential.
