Custom clearance Officer

DescriptionWe are currently hiring a Custom Clearance Officer to join our Vivo Energy Madagascar Team. As a Custom Clearance Officer, you will ensure proper custom clearance for all company import, duties and taxes. You will be responsible that all importation and bunkering activities comply with the Malagasy laws and procedures and guarantee that all related invoices are correctly handled and timely paid.ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all imports, exports & bunkering activities comply with Malagasy laws & proceduresTimely ensure fuel product clearance in order to avoid payment of penalty fees, over cost, and stock out. Manage custom clearance process of packed products (lubricants) and equipment in order to avoid payment of demurrage to support timely delivery to customersEnsure that all fuels, lubes and other packed products order agreed are ordered on the system before clearanceMake sure and follow up reimbursement of duties and taxes related to bunkering activitiesManage contract with custom clearance agentEnsure the interface between C&P and Supply, in order to manage the purchasing of goods, services and equipmentEnsure that all invoices are properly managed and paid on timeEnsure with lubricants supply team that all Lubes importation are covered by insuranceResolve any issues or discrepancies related to custom clearanceStay up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and laws and ensure adherence to any new requirementsEnsure accurate and timely record-keeping of all custom clearance activitiesRequirementsMaster degree in International trade, logistics, custom or equivalentStrong knowledge and experience of Malagasy custom clearance regulations and proceduresExperience in preparing and submitting customs documentationOrganized, have a good discipline and work in a methodic wayAnalytical thinker and problem solverAbility to manage priorities and deadlineDemonstrate experience in managing relationship & teamworkExcellent attention to detail and accuracyHigh integrity Mastering the computer works Strong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in using custom clearance software and toolsFluency in both written and spoken English and FrenchClosing date: 30th june 2025To apply, please send us your resume by 30th june 2025 through below application link:https://apply.workable.com/vivo-energy/j/61EE489AD8/
