Customer Care and Sales ExecutiveLocation: Dundalk, Co. Louth (some travel required)Reports to: General ManagerType: Full-time, PermanentOverviewA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Customer Care and Sales Executive to join a progressive, purpose-driven organisation in Dundalk. This is a varied and fast-paced role that would suit an energetic professional or recent graduate eager to build a career in sales, customer service, and account management.The successful candidate will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction, supporting sales growth, and ensuring smooth order fulfilment from enquiry to delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.Manage the customer database and achieve daily call and sales targets (40+ outbound calls per day).Accurately process orders received by phone, email, or website to ensure timely despatch.Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation where required.Liaise with warehouses for order despatch (manual handling certificate required).Process customer payments and maintain accurate transaction records.Handle customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, including cold calling and upselling new products.Maintain accurate CRM records and update customer details regularly.Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to support wider business objectives.Monitor individual performance against KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement.Skills & Experience RequiredPrevious experience in a fast-paced sales or customer service environment.Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.High attention to detail with strong numerical and administrative abilities.Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Odoo, Salesforce) and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.Proven ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work to deadlines.Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills.Manual handling certification (for warehouse support duties).Motivated, accountable, and capable of working independently or within a team.Why Apply?Opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation with a strong focus on innovation, customer service, and sustainability.Gain hands-on experience across sales, logistics, and customer relationship management.Ideal for candidates who are ambitious, energetic, and eager to develop professionally in a supportive team environment.To hear more about this position or to discuss your suitability to please reach out to Nisha for a confidential chat on 01 632 5046 or email your CV to nisha.rutherford@recruiters.ie Your CV will not be sent to any third party without your consent.By applying here you agree to RECRUITERS storing your CV in our secure applicant tracking system (ATS; Bullhorn).
