Customer Program Manager

About The RoleAs a Customer Program Manager (CPM), the CPM will be the key customer interface and will lead the cross-function team to set program objectives, balance profit, performance and timing while managing launch risk and change management to meet program objectives. This role may also lead to identify program issues as early as possible and drive resolution at the team level.What You Will DoManage customer interface and direct customer communication strategy with Korea OEMs. Ensure assignments from Korea OEMs are well understood, distributed to core teams, and reasonable for Harman success. Lead and manage automotive audio systems projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards. Lead team meetings by establishing an agenda, monitoring discussion to insure adherence to agenda, promoting a free exchange of ideas, challenging the pre-conceptions of team-members, finishing the meeting in a timely fashion, and publishing meeting minutes. Develop and track project schedules, risks, and mitigation plans to ensure successful execution. Handle change management and issue resolution, proactively addressing challenges in project execution. Identify program issues as early as possible and drive resolution at the team level. If resolutions requires management intervention, escalate to appropriate management personnel with proposed alternatives. What You Need To Be SuccessfulBachelor / Master Degree in Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years Project Management experience managing projects throughout product development lifecycle. Minimum 10 years related experience in relevant product development disciplines (e.g. Engineering, Technical Management, Quality, Manufacturing, etc.)Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional team collaboration skillsExcellent problem-solving and risk management capabilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skillsFluent in Korean and English(Advanced level: Speaking, Hearing, Read/Write)Bonus Points if You Have PMP certification preferredAutomotive experience is preferredOversea working experience is preferredWhat Makes You EligibleBe willing to travel, if necessary, domestic and international travelBe willing to work in an office in Seoul orBe eligible to partially work remotely.
