Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Handle customer inquiries promptly and courteously to maintain excellent service standards.Assist the Marketing Team in preparing quotations for potential clients and supporting long-term business partnerships.Obtain and compare competitive rates from various service providers, including LCL, FCL, Conventional, RORO, Air Freight, Warehousing, and Transportation.Prepare and submit accurate quotations efficiently—preferably within the same day upon CEO approval.Follow up with clients after quotations are sent to confirm bookings and secure shipments.Monitor shipment status closely to ensure smooth execution from start to finish.Coordinate with Government Agencies for import/export permit applications for new commodities.Update and distribute the monthly Carrier Own Container (COC) rate list to relevant teams.Create costing sheets and record updated quotation information in the Smart Freight System for each shipment.Check invoices for cash-term customers before forwarding them to the Accounts Department.Contact customers to follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collection.Work closely with the Import Team to monitor warehouse stock and validate vendor invoices.Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the management or immediate superior.Requirements:Minimum qualification: SPM (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Excel, email, etc.).Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.Willing to learn and develop professionally within the company.Team-oriented, able to multitask, and work well under pressure.Prior knowledge or experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customer service will be an added advantage.Candidates who are available to start immediately are preferred.Pay: RM2,000-RM2,900 per month
