YOUR ROLEThe incumbent will be part of a larger team within the Air & Ocean department in providing seamless and customer-focused solutions to support the achievement of business objectives.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?Answer all incoming calls promptly and politelyRespond to customer enquiries promptlyHandle all air import shipment activation with interface with multiple parties (internal and external customer/stakeholders) on shipment requirementsCheck on AWB/HAWB and all other necessary shipping documents and feedback to customer and overseas agent if any discrepancy/non-compliance issueObtain charges approval from customer / overseas agent before shipment deliveryProvide flight details and feedback to customer on freight status timelyEnsure import custom formalities are executed and follow up with custom agent if not ready within the agreed KPITo ensure import permit utilized or cancelled before expired and job file closures within KPITo review the inventory list sent from warehouse team for the unattended cargoes and action accordingly Perform recovery to shipment arrived to CEVA warehouse with discrepancy without survey performed at terminalMonitor shipment arrival as well as updating shipment delays to consignee and follow up with origin stations whenever occursGood understanding of customers’ SOP and shipment handling requirement by ensuring compliance prior to shipping from origin or delivery to consignee, with customer satisfactionTake on all other ad-hoc tasks delegated by Supervisor/ManagerWHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?• Minimum GCE ‘O’ levels• 1-2 years customer service-related experience.
