Job Description

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Customer Service Specialist – Payments/Banking who will process, repair, and route incoming electronic payments from around the world. The ideal candidate is someone who works with speed and precision, demonstrates strong teamwork, and remains resilient under pressure in a high-volume back-office operations setting.Responsibilities:Review, analyze, and repair incoming wire payments using various tools and systems to ensure accurate routing.Process payments in multiple currencies and manually key funds into the correct currency accounts as required.Work through daily payment queues efficiently to ensure all items are completed by end of day.Maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy in alignment with operational KPIs.Collaborate with team members across local and sister-site teams to meet shared deadlines.Adapt to evolving processes, system updates, and operational changes while maintaining high performance.Desired Skill Set:Excellent typing skills with a minimum speed of 50 words per minute.Strong typing accuracy and attention to detail.Strong communication skills; bilingualism is an asset (English required for daily operations).Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.Strong work ethic and ability to perform consistently in a high-volume environment.Nice-to-Have:Previous financial teller experience.Prior banking customer service or operations experience.General geography knowledge and familiarity with global currencies.Experience with wire payments.Experience working in fast-paced environments requiring problem-solving and quick decision-making.Post-secondary education (highly preferred, no specific discipline required).BeachHead is an equal opportunity agency and employer.
