Manager, Application Development

ProCare Pharmacy LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Monroeville, PA: Manager, Application Development to Design and develop enterprise software applications and platforms. Duties include:

develop software solutions to meet business requirements and manage project execution to ensure adherence to schedule and scope; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; plan stages of application development to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems; monitor progress milestones and deliverables; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices; and mentor junior team members.

Telecommuting available. 10% domestic travel required. Multiple positions. Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Position also requires two (2) years of experience with each of the following: Agile Scrum; JIRA, Rally, or Confluence; Java, Python, or R; Frameworks: Angular, JavaScript, React, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, or Backbone; Cloud technologies: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP); Databases:

Oracle, Teradata, or DB2; PL/SQL; Unix, Linux, or Shell scripting; Pharmacy application data integration and migration projects; and Data specification system integration and code reviews.
