Are you a cyber risk and regulatory expert with a passion for knowledge sharing and financial sector resilience? Our client, based in Hillcrest, Pretoria, is seeking an experienced Training Facilitator to deliver a 2-day online programme on Cyber Risk Supervision for professionals in the financial sector.This engagement offers an opportunity to shape supervisory capability and contribute to strengthening South Africa’s financial ecosystem through practical, standards-based training.About the RoleThe facilitator will design and deliver an engaging online programme covering:• The cyber risk landscape and threat taxonomy in financial services.• Regulatory frameworks, including Joint Standard 2 of 2024 and the Financial Sector Regulation Act.• Supervisory tools such as assessments, audits, and stress testing.• Operational resilience, incident response, and recovery planning.• Sectoral coordination, including threat intelligence sharing and reporting protocols.The facilitator will bridge technical cybersecurity knowledge with financial regulatory supervision, ensuring the sessions are interactive, relevant, and aligned with South African and international best practices (e.g., CPMI-IOSCO, NIST, ISO/IEC 27001).Ideal Candidate Profile• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Finance, or Risk Management.• Experience:o 5+ years in cyber risk supervision, financial regulation, or enterprise risk management.o Background in financial institutions, regulators, or consulting environments.o Demonstrated knowledge of Joint Standard 2 of 2024 and its application within the financial sector.o Exposure to operational resilience, incident response, and cyber governance frameworks.• Facilitation Skills: Proven track record in delivering online training or capacity-building programmes for supervisory or compliance professionals.• Regional & Global Insight: Strong understanding of South African regulatory context, with awareness of international frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).Key Attributes• Excellent communication and presentation skills.• Ability to simplify complex cyber risk concepts for mixed audiences.• Familiarity with digital facilitation tools (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams).• Experience using case studies, simulations, and scenario-based learning.Contract Details• Duration: 2 days (plus preparation time).• Delivery: Online (virtual classroom).• Location: Client based in Hillcrest, Pretoria.• Engagement Type: Independent contract / consultancy.How to ApplyIf you meet the above criteria and are ready to contribute to advancing cyber risk supervision in the financial sector, please submit:• Your CV,• A brief profile summary or bio, and• A list of previous training or facilitation engagements relevant to cybersecurity or regulation.Send your application to info@fusion-mark.co.za with the subject line: Cyber Risk Supervision Facilitator – Pretoria.
