JOB SUMMARYResponsible for protecting the company's systems and network from cyber-threats. Work in a team to identify, assess and evaluate cybersecurity risk and provide recommendations for remediation and suggest treatment options.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSecure Azure Cloud platform and workloadsSecure on-prem data centers and networkNetwork security managementHost security managementMicrosoft Defender suite of security managementHost OS patch managementSecurity operations and incident managementVulnerability assessment and penetration testing coordination.Ensure security controls are effective and optimally configured.Play a pivotal role in security related project implementation.Maintain awareness of emerging cyber threatsAssist in the development of cyber security standards.Adherence and enforcement of IT P&PJOB REQUIREMENT A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experienceAt least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or network administration, with a focus on cloud security (Azure), security operations, incident response, or vulnerability management.Security professional certification such as CEH, Security+, CASP, CISSP or cloud securityExpertise in host, network and perimeter security Expertise in mainstream operating systemsExperience in conducting and coordinating VAPTExperience with using various commercial security tools such as NGFW, NGAM, WAF, IPS, PAM, MDM, DLP, SWG and SIEMMeticulous, versatile, and inquisitive, have strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skillsDesire to learn, working in a diverse environment, interacting with multiple teams and functions to support strategic goals Must be a good team player and excellent communicatorDemonstrate high motivational levels, integrity, professionalism, dependability, and ability to work with little supervisionKnowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks, such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls and Bank Negara Malaysia’s RMITPassionate in cyber security
