Cyber Security Engineer (EDR)

Requirements:Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related IT fields.Experienced in managing security applications and tools.Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (Middle level).Proficient in using Windows and/or Non-Windows operating systems.Experienced in conducting security product analysis or assessment.Holds a security-related certification.Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills; able to work independently or in a team.Willing to comply with BDI’s security policies and procedures.Background in infrastructure or cybersecurity.Hands-on experience handling EDR — Mandatory Willing to work in 24/7 shifting schedule if required.Job Responsibilities:Build and maintain the security of systems and infrastructure.Conduct security testing and vulnerability assessments.Perform assessment and evaluation of security products prior to implementation.Carry out Proof of Concept (POC) for new security solutions.Implement and oversee security projects and ensure their successful execution.Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security systems and propose improvements to strengthen protection against cyber threats.Understand and manage network systems to ensure secure configurations.Analyze and apply up-to-date data security policies and standards.Investigate network disturbances or data breaches and take immediate corrective action.Communicate with system and application owners regarding security implementation and compliance.Prepare and submit detailed weekly activity reports.Develop and enhance system security standards and best practices.
