Cyber Security Senior Manager

For one of our clients we are on the lookout for a Cyber Security Senior Manager to spearhead their cybersecurity and information security initiatives. Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and oversee the execution of comprehensive cybersecurity strategies.Work closely with IT and business executives to ensure seamless integration of security measures throughout the organization.Define and monitor departmental objectives and KPIs while ensuring effective execution of annual plans.Oversee departmental budget, lead staff development efforts, and manage resources efficiently.Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies, architecture, and risk management processes.Perform routine cybersecurity evaluations, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.Manage incident responses, forensic investigations, and root cause analyses.Ensure adherence to national and international cybersecurity regulations.Develop and sustain awareness initiatives for continuous improvement.Maintain and report on cybersecurity KPIs/KRIs, while tracking related action plans.Review vendor contracts for cybersecurity adherence.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.Minimum of 8 years in IT security, particularly within financial services or banking, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.Core Competencies:Ability to inspire and lead teams towards achieving security objectives.Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex information.Proven analytical skills to assess risks and develop strategic solutions.Ability to think critically and respond effectively to security incidents.Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.Capacity to stay current with the fast-evolving cybersecurity landscape and adjust strategies accordingly.
