Construction Project EngineerPosition OverviewThe Construction Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including clients, architects, and subcontractors, to facilitate efficient project execution and adherence to safety and building codes. Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and timelines. Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project stakeholders.
Conduct site supervision to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Perform cost estimation for materials and labor, providing accurate forecasts to manage project budgets effectively. Utilize AutoCAD and Primavera P6 for project design, planning, and scheduling, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Oversee quality control processes, ensuring that all work meets established standards and specifications. Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams, subcontractors, and clients to resolve issues and streamline project workflows. Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential project risks throughout the construction process.
Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates and budget analyses, to stakeholders and management. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience in construction project engineering or management, with a strong understanding of construction processes. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, and other relevant engineering software. Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality control standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to risk management. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
