This role ensures compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies while maintaining a strong security posture and collaboration with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities and provide assurance that security controls are effective.Job ResponsibilitiesVulnerability ManagementConduct regular internal vulnerability assessment using manually/automated tools across on-premises and cloud environments.Analyze assessment results, prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and track remediation progress.Develop and maintain vulnerability management policies, procedures and reporting mechanisms.Perform technical and non-technical risk assessments of systems, networks and applications.Corporation and support with GSOC for conducting regular external vulnerability assessment and tracking remediation progressSecurity AssuranceValidate the effectiveness of implemented security controls MBSS (Minimum Baseline Security Standard) through assessment audits and compliance checks and maintaining compliance tracking report.Support internal and external audits related to cybersecurity and vulnerability management.Ensure adherence to regulatory and standard frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).Collaboration & ReportingWork closely with IT, Telco. and business teams to remediate vulnerabilities promptly as per SOP and SLA.Prepare and deliver detailed reports on vulnerability status, remediation efforts and risk posture to stakeholders.Provide guidance on secure coding practices and emerging threats.Continuous ImprovementStay updated on the latest vulnerabilities, exploits and security trends.Recommend and implement automation for vulnerability scanning and reporting.Corporation and assist with GSOC in performing penetration testing, Red Teaming, Cyber Drill and threat modeling exercises. Maintaining and tracking report of the remediation progression.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or related field. Certifications like CEH, OSCP, CISM, GIAC, CompTIA CySA+ and others are preferred.3+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security assurance or related cybersecurity roles. Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7). Strong understanding of network security, application security and cloud security principles.
