Job Description

Role OverviewAs a newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) you will join our central reporting team at a pivotal time of growth. Operating in a multi-jurisdictional construction environment, you will take ownership of core management-accounting cycles while supporting group-wide consolidation, statutory reporting and external audit coordination. The role offers hands-on exposure to complex projects, cross-border entities and senior stakeholders—ideal for someone looking to build deep technical expertise and commercial insight early in their career. What You Will DoManagement AccountingPrepare monthly management accounts for UK, Isle of Man and Jersey subsidiaries. Analyse variances (budget vs.

actual) and present commentary to divisional leaders. Group ConsolidationAssist in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly group consolidation under FRS and GAAPHelp drive automation and process improvementsAd hoc reporting and AnalysisBuild dashboards and bespoke reports for Finance Business Partners and the Board (e. g. , cash-flow forecasts, covenant compliance, KPI packs). Support scenario modelling for new project bids and strategic initiatives. Statutory Accounts PreparationDraft annual financial statements for UK, Isle of Man and Jersey entitiesAudit ManagementAct as first point of contact for external auditors—prepare PBC lists, resolve queries, and track audit progress.

Coordinate internal controls testing and remediation actions across jurisdictions. Process and Controls ImprovementDocument end-to-end close processes, identify efficiency opportunities and support Finance Transformation projects (e. g. , rapid close). What You Will HaveNewly qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (passed first time preferred). 0-2 years’ post-qualification experience in audit, group reporting or management accounting. Sound technical knowledge of FRS102 and UK GAAP. Exposure to construction or project-based accounting (WIP, percentage-of-completion) desirable but not essential. Advanced Excel skills (Power Query/Pivot, advanced formula, BI). What We Will Offer YouCompetitive base salary with annual bonus linked to group performance.
