Identifying target audiences and tailoring messages accordingly. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of communications campaigns. Content Creation And ManagementWriting and editing content for various channels, including websites, social media, press releases, newsletters, and marketing materials. Creating engaging and informative content that resonates with the target audience. Managing the organisation’s online presence and resolution.
Media RelationsServing as the point of contact for media inquiries. Developing and maintaining relationships with journalists and media outlets. Arranging interviews and press conferences. Internal CommunicationsEnsuring that employees are informed about company’s development and updates. Facilitating open communication and feedback channels within the organization. Event ManagementOrganising and promoting events, webinars and presentationsEnsuring that events are well executed and effectively communicate the organization’s message. Analytics And ReportingTracking and Analyzing communication campaign performance. Providing regular reports on communications activities and results. Advisory RoleProviding advice and guidance to senior management and staff on communication issues.
Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices. Mitigate and engage in community conflict management. RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or a related field. Experience2–5 years of experience in corporate communications, branding, public relations, or media relations. Experience working in a large corporate or multinational environment is preferred. Proven track record in managing communication campaigns and brand-related projects. Skills And CompetenciesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong storytelling and content creation abilities across various platforms (print, digital, video, etc. ). Familiarity with media relations and ability to manage press releases and media engagement.
Understanding of brand strategy and positioning. Proficiency in communication tools and platforms (e. g. , Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, social media management tools). Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management.
