Our purpose is to provide expertise to clients that enable them to improve performance and resolve business issues through the effective application of data. About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist for a mid August start on a 3-month contract. In this role, you will support the delivery of key data and reporting solutions using a range of BI tools. You’ll work closely with business users in an Agile environment to design, develop, and deploy impactful reporting outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement reporting solutions using BI tools such as QlikView, Tableau, SAS Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, or Datazen. Build and manage data connections from both live source systems and static data files. Develop engaging presentation layers including graphs, charts, maps, and drill-down reports. Work closely with end users in an iterative (Agile) fashion to deliver BI artefacts and support user self-sufficiency. Conduct automated unit testing to ensure data accuracy and reporting reliability. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, data models, and data dictionaries. Use Azure DevOps for release pipeline management and version control.
Mandatory RequirementA minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Reports/BI domain. This is a client-facing role; therefore, you should be well presented and have outstanding communication skills. Candidates must be based in Melbourne. Working arrangements will require weekly client and office visits.
