You design and build the blueprint for our analytics and generative-AI capabilities on the AWS platform so that teams can make better decisions, solve complex problems and deliver value. What You’ll Do: Design end-to-end analytics and AI solutions: Work with stakeholders to gather needs, sketch the architecture and document the big picture.Architect on AWS: Apply your expertise with services such as Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, Glue, QuickSight and the suite of AI/ML and generative-AI tools to build robust, scalable platforms.Model and integrate data: Define clean data models and ETL patterns, bring data in from diverse sources, optimise for performance and maintain integrity.Ensure scale, security and performance: Build solutions that grow with us, run efficiently, protect sensitive information and meet compliance standards.Troubleshoot and optimise: Spot bottlenecks or quality issues, propose creative fixes and tune the environment as it runs.Collaborate and innovate: Partner with engineers, scientists and analysts; contribute ideas, stay up-to-date with emerging tech and help raise the bar on what our data estate can do.Job Requirements A proven track record designing and delivering data-centric solutions in the cloud – you speak the language of data modelling, warehousing, ETL and governance and you’ve seen ideas through from concept into production.Deep familiarity with the AWS analytics and AI family (Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, Glue, QuickSight and related AI/ML/generative-AI offerings) and an enthusiasm for exploring new services.Comfort writing code and queries – you work fluently in Python and SQL (or similar languages) to manipulate, transform and interrogate data.Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills – you can translate business questions into technical designs and work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.Experience working in an Agile environment, version controlling your work and adapting as priorities evolve.Relevant qualifications: a degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent, plus current AWS certifications (Solution Architect, Data Analytics Specialty or the equivalent).Company description  SoftwareOne and Crayon have come together to form a global, AI-powered software and cloud solutions provider with a bold vision for the future.
