Job title: Data AnalystClient: Elite FinTechSalary: £65,000-£100,000 + BonusLocation: LondonSkills: SQL, Python, PySpark, Airflow, LinuxThe role:My client are looking for a Data Analyst to join their team.Responsibilities:Playing a key role in all Data related activities for a wide range of datasets, used by Quants and TradersWorking closely with Stakeholders across a range of departmentsInvestigating complex issues and providing resolutionsAssuring Data acuityAnalysing wide ranges of Data and providing insightUsing different data quality indicesRecommending improvements within data pipelines to increase data acuityIdentifying opportunities for improvement generally with a continuous improvement mindsetCore skills required:3+ years working as a Data Analyst, ideally within FinTech or Financial ServicesExposure to Derivatives or other Financial instrumentsStrong SQL experienceStrong Python experience (PySpark, Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks etc.)Airflow / Algo for workflow managementGitAny exposure to compressed file formats such as Parquet or HDF5 highly advantageousLinux / Bash skills highly desirablePlease apply ASAP for more information.
